This portfolio collects a limited amount of information to keep the site reliable, understand which public work is useful to visitors, and respond to messages. The data is not sold, published, or used for behavioral advertising.
Visitor Analytics
For public HTML page visits, the site may record the IP address, approximate country/region/city supplied by Cloudflare, timestamp, visited path, and browser user agent. The private dashboard retains the latest 200 public page records. Admin and API paths are excluded from this page-view log.
Contact Messages
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, message, and submission time may be stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database and delivered by email. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry.
AI Assistant
Questions sent to Rui's AI Assistant, together with a short recent conversation history, are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a response. This site does not write those prompts to its portfolio database. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or personal information in the assistant.
Local Preferences and Infrastructure
The light or dark theme preference may be stored in your browser's local storage. Cloudflare provides hosting, security, and privacy-focused web analytics, so its infrastructure may process standard request data as part of operating the site.
Your Choices
Requests sent with Global Privacy Control enabled are excluded from the private page-view log. You can also avoid the contact form and AI assistant and contact Rui directly by email. To ask about a submitted message or the limited visitor data described here, email [email protected].
